Isla Simpson

Isla Simpson is a British designer and founder of her London studio, known for an unmistakably English and nostalgic approach to decoration: finely scaled pattern, softened colour and a quietly cosy, country‑house feel.

With more than two decades of experience across textiles and accessories, she now focuses on fabrics and wallpapers for interior designers and bespoke projects. Trained in printed textiles at Central Saint Martins, she combines a deeply traditional eye with very modern tools, drawing and developing every motif digitally before it reaches the print room.

Her collections are printed to order in the UK and prized by trade clients for their balance of romance and practicality: patterns that sit quietly in a scheme yet carry a clear, confident point of view, supported by a designer who understands manufacturing and production from sketch to finished bolt. Her studio serves trade and private clients in the UK and internationally.
