Cressida Bell's open studio

Next week you must visit Cressida Bell’s beautiful studio for her Christmas shopping event.  Here are the dates for your diary:

Her studio fizzes with creativity and is a window into her pattern filled world.  How festive to visit Clarence Mews, and make a day of it.  Stopping off at tudor Sutton House (dressed for Christmas) and lunching at Lardo – instead of trawling the web and pounding the streets.

I’m a huge fan of her work and earlier on in the summer, you may remember she invited me to try one of her lampshade painting kits.  Wouldn’t that be a lovely way to spend the quiet time between Christmas and New Year, painting something beautiful for your house?!  Here’s what else I’ve got on my Cressida Bell wishlist:

Also, nobody is more excited than me to see her new collaboration for Fine Cell Work.  A social enterprise training prisoners to embroider products which I’ve blogged about before.  At a time when the British prison system seems to be imploding, buying one of Cressida’s FCW cushions supports so much more than the act of gifting.
